Koiranen GP’s Jimmy Eriksson eased to his first GP3 win since 2014 in Sochi.
Eriksson started from pole position and was well in control throughout the duration of the race.
Esteban Ocon made it nine second-place finishes in a row after making some daring moves on Antonio Fuoco and Jann Mardenborough – who came home third.
Championship leader Luca Ghiotto endured a difficult race but salvaged a single point on the final lap after overtaking Álex Palou at turn 13.
Fuoco was given the black and white flag midway through the race because of his strong defensive manouvers. The Italian came home fourth ahead of Artur Janosz in fifth – his best result of the season.
Emil Bernstorff made several mistakes throughout but held on for sixth place, ahead of Marvin Kirchhöfer and Luca Ghiotto.
Ocon’s ninth consecutive second-place means he now sits two points behind Luca Ghiotto in the drivers’ championship.
The next race in GP3 takes place in Bahrain from November 19-21.
