Team Factory VAMAG rider Roberto Rolfo topped the timesheets at the end of a rain-interrupted second free practice session from MotorLand Aragon.
The heavens opened just moments before FP2 for the Supersport class was due to get underway, and this left most sitting in their garages whilst it passed. However, the rain intensified, and gradually riders started to head out.

Phillip Island race winner Rolfo didn’t turn a lap this morning due to a bike issue, so the conditions present in FP2 were far from ideal for the Italian. This didn’t stop him from stealing top spot by a considerable margin with a 2m12.944s.
Team ATK25 stand-in Xavi Cardelus slotted into second on the FP2 standings ahead of Lachlan Epis, who was one of the first to brave the torrid conditions halfway through the session.
Peter Sebestyen headed Kazuki Watanabe and Thailand race winner Federico Caricasulo, with Hikari Okubo, Hannes Soomers, Niki Tuuli and Davide Pizzoli completing the top 10.
With condition as they were, the times from FP1 decide the direct entrants in the second part of Superpole. This is bad news for Jules Cluzel and Lucas Mahias, who ended the morning 12th and 13th.

MV Agusta’s PJ Jacobsen tops the combined times, with Kyles Smith and Okubo heading Sheridan Morais and Christian Gamarino.
Kenan Sofuoglu, on his return from injury, heads straight through to SP2 after setting the sixth best time of the day on his Puccetti Kawasaki. Tuuli, Gino Rea, European Superstock 600 rider Alessandro Zaccone, and Robin Mulhauser are also into SP2.
