Sky Racing Team VR46 KTM’s Nicolo Bulega ended the second day of Moto3 testing from the Jerez Circuit in Spain top of the time sheets.
The Italian rider posted his best effort, as did the entire top 10, of 1m46.232s during the day’s opening session and went almost a tenth and a half clear of Wednesday’s fastest Aron Canet on his EG 0,0 Honda.

Gresini Honda’s Jorge Martin once again completed the top three, though substantially cut his deficit to the top of the pile to just under two tenths of a second.
Marinelli Rivacold Honda’s Romano Fenti was fourth fastest, 0.25s adrift, with the RBA Racing duo of Gabriel Rodrigo and Juanfran Guevara rounding out the top six.
Platinum Bay Real Estate KTM’s Marco Ramirez was one of the big movers on day two. The Spaniard, entering his first full season in 2017, improved on his Wednesday best by well over a second and leaped up the order to seventh with a 1m46.758s.
Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Bo Bendsneyder was eighth, with Leopard Honda’s Joan Mir and the second Platinum Bay bike of Darryn Binder completing the top 10.

Aspar’s Lorenzo Dalla Porta struggled yesterday with set-up, and reverted back to the one he used at a private test at the same circuit last week. This seemed to have cured some of his issues, as the Mahindra rider was 11th on a 1m46.990s.
British Talent Team Honda’s John McPhee was 12th, seven tenths away from Bulega. The Scottish rider outpaced Sky Racing’s Andrea Migno, Peugeot Saxoprint’s Jakub Kornfeil and the second EG 0,0 Honda of Enea Bastianini.
The third and final day of track action from Jerez takes place tomorrow from 11:20 (GMT+1).
