The 2015 Bahrain has been one to forget for Toro Rosso as both their cars retired from the race.
Speaking to the press, Max Verstappen said “It hasn’t been a positive day. It was a tough race. We still don’t know the exact reason for the retirement, but it looks like an electrical issue made us end our race before time.”
Max Retired on lap 34 – just 5 laps after team-mate, Carlos Sainz Jr.
“I’m disappointed, but we will carry on working as hard as always in order to come back stronger in Barcelona and fight for points again. That’s where we belong!”
Toro Rosso are now only one point ahead of Force India in the constructors championship, and tied with Lotus with a total of 12 points.
