The Ferrari Driver Academy prospect posted a decisive 1:44.331 benchmark around the Spanish street circuit. He finished two-tenths clear of Rodin Motorsport competitor Alexander Dunne after trading top times repeatedly.

Three separate red flags fractured the afternoon running. The Swedish driver maintained his composure to find a final improvement in the closing minutes, lowering his provisional pole time. Dunne responded but could not depose the leader.
The standout lap highlights his credentials within the Maranello development pathway, arriving as Ferrari stablemate Carlos Sainz resurrects a retro helmet for the historic Spanish event.
Championship contender Rafael Camara faced immense pressure after the stoppages left him down in 14th place. The Invicta Racing driver delivered a crucial late lap to secure third on the grid.
Closing The Title Gap
Camara improved his championship prospects by outqualifying current points leader Nikola Tsolov, who could only manage fifth. Martinius Stenshorne slotted into fourth to split the title rivals.
Roman Bilinski finished sixth to cap a highly successful session for the DAMS squad, while Laurens van Hoepen took seventh. Their quick adaptation contrasts sharply with other competitors battling the new regulations, such as Yuki Tsunoda’s recent F1 struggles.
