Force India’s Daruvala remains at Carlin for 2018
Force India junior Jehan Daruvala will continue with Carlin for his second season in the European Formula 3 championship.
Daruvala made his F3 debut with the team last year. He took a race win and three podiums on his way to sixth in the overall standings and second in the rookie competition.
This year, he’s aiming for more success and more race wins in his second year in the championship.
“It has been a fantastic year racing with Carlin,” Daruvala said. “Everyione in the team is very committed to achieving the best possible results.
“I am happy to be working with them once again and look forward to a successful year.”
“He’s been a fantastic addition to the team this year and his results as a rookie have been impressive,” said racing director Trevor Carlin.
“He’s already a race winner in the series and no doubt has the ability to add more wins and pole positions to his achievements over the course of 2018.”
Daruvala is the second racer to be confirmed for Carlin’s 2018 squad, joining the already announced Devlin DeFrancesco. He’s also the first confirmed driver going into his second full season in the championship, though DeFrancesco did compete in the final two rounds of the 2017 season.
The 2018 season begins with the Pau GP in May.
