Driver Ratings: 2017 Austrian Grand Prix

A duo of perfect scores in our driver ratings for what was a less than perfect Austrian Grand Prix.

Valtteri Bottas claimed his second grand prix victory of his career after triumphing over Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel by just 0.658 seconds.

Daniel Ricciardo took his fifth consecutive podium finish while his Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen retired for the fifth time in seven races.

Lewis Hamilton recovered from a five-place grid penalty, which forced him to start down in eighth place, to finish in fourth place just over a second away from the podium.

Kimi Raikkonen rounded out the top five, with Romain Grosjean in a season-best sixth position.

The Force India duo completed the top eight with Sergio Perez once again getting the better of his much more inexperienced team-mate Esteban Ocon.

Williams recovered well from their Saturday woes to get both cars in the points, with Felipe Massa ninth and rookie Lance Stroll tenth – his third points finish in as many races.
