After a dramatic final race and some very questionable tactics from teammate Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg was crowned the new F1 World Champion – the 33rd different person to hold the title.
A podium finish for the German enabled him to win the Championship, following his father Keke Rosberg’s footsteps and becoming only the second father-son pairing to win the title along with Graham and Damon Hill.

With the season now over, the drivers can finally kick back and relax and they did so in style last night at the Amber Lounge in Abu Dhabi where a number of the drivers and celebrities were in attendance as the 2016 season was brought to a close.
