American manufacturer Faraday Future have signed a technical partnership with Dragon Racing for next season in Formula E.
The same announcement confirmed that Jerome d’Ambrosio would remain with the team alongside Loic Duval.
This technical partnership means Faraday Future will manufacture powertrains for Dragon Racing and become title sponsors meaning the team will be known as Faraday Future Dragon Racing.
Ex-Ferrari Formula One boss Marco Mattiacchi is the company’s global chief brand and commercial officer after being appointed earlier this year.

“We are extremely proud to be part of this exciting alliance with Dragon Racing,” Mattiacci said in a press conference in London.
“Formula E has placed a significant emphasis on electric performance and connectivity which makes it a great fit for Faraday Future.
“Formula E has leveraged a community of fans and embodies the competitive spirit that we also share.”
This weekend’s London ePrix will be the last which Dragon Racing use the Venturi powertrain which saw them win the Mexican ePrix back in March at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
