Lucas di Grassi won the 2016 Paris ePrix, extending his lead in the Drivers’ Championship to 11 points over Sebastien Buemi, who finished the race in third place.

Despite the Brazilian getting his third win of the season, Renault e.dams were able to extend their lead in the Teams’ Championship by a further point to seven points over Abt Schaeffler.

Vergne’s inspired and gritted defensive drive to second place added with Bird’s eight points for finishing sixth help DS Virgin Racing close in on Dragon Racing in the Teams’ Championship after both Loic Duval and Jerome d’Ambrosio finished outside the top ten.
