As all of the drivers and teams continued to get to grips with the new Paris circuit, Venturi Racing’s Mike Conway was the surprise of the session, setting the fastest time of second practice.
The British driver ended FP2 0.010s clear of DS Virgin’s Jean-Eric Vergne, who will be hoping to take pole position at his home race later today.
Sam Bird was third fastest, two-tenths off the pace set by Conway. Formula E championship leader Lucas di Grassi will be encouraged with fourth ahead of Stephane Sarrazin and Mahindra’s Bruno Senna.
Antonio Felix da Costa was half a second shy in seventh ahead of the highest placed Renault e.Dams in eighth. Robin Frijns and Daniel Abt rounded out the top ten positions.
Sebastien Buemi was a lowly 13th after setting the fastest time of first practice earlier today.
Only seven-tenths separated the top ten meaning the battle for the Super Pole shootout will be as tight as ever.
