Alejandro Agag has told Motorsport.com that he is looking at the possibility of a future ePrix taking place in Brazil.

He says that a visit to the country will be taking place next week, after the Punta del Este ePrix in Uruguay is over.

“We are looking at Brazil. We have some people here from Brazil. I might be going there from here [Punta del Este] on Monday to meet people,” Agag says.

“We need a promoter in Brazil, we need someone to help us there, but we would love to race in Brazil, it has a great fan base and also and we have Brazilian drivers, so I think it would be great.”

There were plans last season to stage a race in Rio De Janeiro, but the event did not occur, with the reason behind it not mentioned.

Agag continues on to say, “There are different options. Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo are tricky, difficult, but we could have other places. We are open to it.”
