Team Aguri has confirmed Antonio Felix da Costa will drive for the team in the upcoming season in Formula E.
da Costa will return to Formula E after participating in the opening eight races of season one of the series.
The former Red Bull test and reserve driver won the 2015 Buenos Aires ePrix en route to eighth in the drivers’ championship.
Team boss Mark Preston said having da Costa onboard for season two is very important for the development and progression of the team.
“Antonio brought us our maiden win in Buenos Aires and helped to develop the team from scratch,” he added.
“He will continue to build on that success for season two and beyond.
“With Team Aguri focusing on reliability and delivering straight out of the box in Beijing, he will be a crucial part of that strategy.”
The identity of his teammate is yet known but a host of names have been linked with the second seat including Pedro de la Rosa, Tom Dillmann, Salvador Duran, Nicolas Lapierre, Stefano Coletti and Nathanael Berthon, all of whom tested for the team in the pre-season test at Donington.
Season two of the FIA Formula E Championship gets underway in Beijing on October 24.
