According to NASCAR.com, Ryan Blaney’s EchoPark Speedway win doubled as a Round 3 victory in the sport’s $1 million In-Season Challenge, eliminating Christopher Bell’s semi-final path after Bell had already knocked out Denny Hamlin. Chase Elliott advanced past fellow Joe Gibbs Racing driver Chase Briscoe and will face Todd Gilliland, who edged Alex Bowman, at North Wilkesboro Speedway next week for a place in the final.
WEC: Barcelona and Monza lined up to replace Qatar and Bahrain. Per a Racer report, World Endurance Championship organisers are preparing to revise the back of the 2026 calendar for a second time, swapping the planned Qatar and Bahrain rounds for races at Barcelona and Monza because of the ongoing Middle East conflict, pending sign-off from the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
IndyCar: McLaughlin tops Milwaukee test as Palou eyes a fourth straight title. Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin set the pace in a full-field test at the Milwaukee Mile, according to Racer, ahead of Juncos Hollinger’s Rinus VeeKay and Andretti’s Marcus Ericsson, with championship leader Alex Palou tenth as he continues his push for a record-tying fourth consecutive title.
