MotoGP has locked in the official German Grand Prix timetable, turning Sachsenring into the last major title checkpoint before the summer break.
The Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany runs from 10-12 July, with Sunday’s premier-class race scheduled for 30 laps after morning warm-up at 09:40 local time.
That places the shortest circuit on the calendar at the centre of a volatile championship picture. MotoGP’s own preview says four riders are covered by 25 points, with Jorge Martin leading Marco Bezzecchi as the series reaches its halfway mark.
German GP schedule sharpens Sachsenring pressure
The official Sunday programme starts with Moto3 at 11:00, followed by Moto2 at 12:15, before MotoGP takes over the bill for the main event.
- Friday: opening practice and race-weekend set-up work
- Saturday: qualifying and Sprint pressure
- Sunday: warm-up, support races and the 30-lap MotoGP Grand Prix
Marc Marquez remains the obvious Sachsenring reference point. MotoGP has framed the weekend as a shot at another German GP statement for the Ducati rider, while Martin, Bezzecchi, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Ai Ogura carry the tighter points battle into the break.
With Sachsenring’s anti-clockwise layout leaving little room to recover from a poor grid slot, the timetable matters. This is not just another race weekend; it is the final chance to shape the title narrative before MotoGP shuts down for summer.
