Emma Felbermayr put F1 Academy’s Silverstone weekend back into title-fight territory with a controlled Reverse Grid Race victory on Saturday.
The Audi-backed Rodin Motorsport driver converted pole into her second win of the 2026 season, holding Nina Gademan out of Turn 1 and then keeping the Alpine driver outside striking range across the 13-lap contest.
Felbermayr’s margin was two seconds at the flag, a clean enough gap to underline how quickly she and Rodin found race pace after a frustrating qualifying session. Gademan finished second, while Ella Lloyd completed the podium to give Rodin two cars in the top three at its home event.
Felbermayr Cuts Palmowski Gap
The result mattered beyond the win column. F1 Academy reported that Felbermayr trimmed six points from Alisha Palmowski’s championship lead, leaving her 19 points back before Sunday’s Feature Race.
Behind the podium, Rachel Robertson scored her first points of the campaign in fourth, Palmowski climbed to fifth, and Chiara Battig recovered to eighth on debut, adding the final point and the fastest-lap bonus.
The official Formula 1 report noted that Battig will start Sunday’s Feature Race from pole at 10:00 local time. That gives Silverstone a sharp second act: Felbermayr has momentum, Palmowski still owns the lead, and Battig now carries the pressure of turning qualifying pace into a headline result.
