Formula 1 has confirmed that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on the calendar through 2037 after a new 10-year extension with Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc., Clark County officials and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The deal, announced by Formula 1 on 4 June, locks in one of the championship’s highest-profile United States events for the long term and gives the sport a major calendar pillar beyond the current decade.
The race takes place on the 3.8-mile Las Vegas Strip Circuit, where F1 says drivers exceed 200mph while passing landmarks including Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas and The Venetian Resort.
Las Vegas becomes a long-term F1 anchor
F1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali said the event had rapidly established itself as a premier destination for racing, entertainment and business, according to Formula 1’s official announcement.
The series also said the race has delivered $3.2billion in cumulative economic impact for Southern Nevada since debuting in 2023, with all three editions from 2023 to 2025 selling out.
Max Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 and 2025, while George Russell took victory in 2024. The extension means the Strip event will remain a major late-season stage for F1’s biggest names, including Lewis Hamilton, as the championship continues to deepen its US footprint.
