Today, we are delighted to announce the return of ReadMotorsport.
After a period of silence spanning two-and-a-bit years, our digital doors are once again open, and our commitment to providing quality motorsport journalism is renewed.
And it’s all thanks to the mighty Dave Group, whose acquisition of part of the Snack Media empire entailed taking on the Read… sites. As such, the aim is to resurrect those that have lain dormant for a while and restore them to their former glory.
Upholding a legacy: A commitment to high-quality motorsport journalism
As we look toward the future, we do so with a nod to the recent past. This platform was built on a foundation of quality reporting and a genuine passion for the sports on which were reported.
We hold the previous work of our contributors in the highest esteem; their dedication established ReadMotorsport as a respected voice in an already crowded field.
Our main objective in this relaunch is to recreate that same standard of excellence, ensuring we do justice to the legacy of the site (and all the other Read sites) while steering it toward a bright future.
Analysing 2026 Shift: From F1 Technical Revolutions to NASCAR Strategy
The timing of our return is no coincidence. The 2026 season represents a transformative moment in the history of motorsport. With F1 poised to undergo a radical transformation—defined by a big shift in power unit regulations and a move toward more sustainable machinery—the narratives are limitless. We will be there to dissect every technical nuance and political manoeuvre from the pit lane.
However, our vision extends far beyond F1. The modern-day motor racing landscape spreads far and wide, and we intend to cover it with the passion and commitment it deserves. Our focus will encompass:
- The new-ish frontier: Comprehensive analysis of Formula E’s continued evolution in the EV sphere.
- The US classics: In-depth reporting on the wheel-to-wheel intensity of IndyCar and the strategic complexities of NASCAR.
- Global endurance: We’ll not forget the manufacturers and privateers across some of the world’s most prestigious circuits and terrain.
Our promise to the reader
In an era of snappy SEO headlines, we also hope to be a destination for those who seek the story behind the story or a unique angle.
Whether it is the data-driven world of aero, the human element behind the visor, or the politics of the pitlane, we aim to have it covered with depth and clarity; hopefully of a type that discerning motorsport enthusiasts will enjoy.
So, we thank you for your patience and, in advance, for your continued support. It feels good to be back, and we’ll do everything we can to encourage you to stick around.
Not long now before lights out.
Speak to you all again very soon. Like… tomorrow.
