When hybrids and electric vehicles first came out the prices were high. The initial cost of developing the new green technology was so high that manufacturers had little choice but to try to recoup some of the investment they made by offering them for sale at higher costs. Since that time, new innovations in production has made it cheaper to produce them so there are more choices available at lower costs for the manufacturers which are being passed along to consumers. We’ve put together a collection of affordable hybrid and electric vehicles that are currently available on the market.
