Rodrigo makes it back to back poles in Austria

Gabriel Rodrigo shocked everyone again by taking his second pole position in a row this afternoon.

The Argentine rider continued his form shown in Brno, beating out Joan Mir with a late charge for pole position. Rodrigo will head up the grid tomorrow, however, Mir was thrown down the order after his lap was cancelled. The championship leader will start down in tenth place.

Alongside Rodrigo will be teammate Juanfran Guevara, making it another great afternoon for the RBA Racing team. Aron Canet will start third.

Enea Bastianini heads up row two alongside John McPhee. Bo Bendsneyder led for long periods of the session but will start tomorrow sixth.

Andrea Migno will start seventh, alongside Phillip Oettl in eighth. Fabio di Giannantonio will start in ninth place, joining the pair on the third row.

Romano Fenati and Livio Loi will join Mir on the fourth row. Fenati was involved in a scuffle with Di Giannantonio after the session was ended. The pair will be able to sort it out on the track tomorrow, with the riders lining up alongside each other.

The race tomorrow gets underway at 10:00 BST.
