Jorge Martin took a narrow victory at Mugello, with the Spaniard just beating his rivals across the line.
Martin just edged out the Italian pair of Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio di Giannantonio to take victory in Italy, and close in on Bezzecchi in the World Championship.
Bezzecchi’s lead in the standings was reduced to three points, with Martin closing in on the Italian.
Gabriel Rodrigo was the best of the rest in fourth, with Andrea Migno fifth. Enea Bastianini was sixth, with Tony Arbolino seventh.
Lorenzo Della Porta ended the day eighth, with Nicolo Antonelli ninth. Manuel Pagliani rounded out the top ten, finishing tenth.
