Argentine rider Gabriel Rodrigo has taken his debut Moto3 pole at Brno, even after having a big crash.
The RBA racing rider was taken to the medical centre after having a big incident. However, the Argentine got back on his bike and set the fastest time late in the session.
It would be a great Saturday for the RBA Racing team, with Juanfran Guevara also taking third place on the grid for tomorrow’s race. Romano Fenati will be the final rider on the front row with the Italian starting second.
Championship leader Joan Mir will head up the second row in fourth. The Spaniard will be joined by Nicolo Bulega and Bo Bendsneyder, who will start from fifth and sixth respectively.
Marco Ramirez will start seventh, with Fabio Di Giannantonio starting eighth. Livio Loi will join them on the third row in ninth position.
Phillip Oettl will start from tenth place alongside Ayumu Suzuki and Andrea Migno. Migno fell late on in the session, meaning the Italian was unable to improve his time.
The Moto3 race at Brno will start at 10:00 BST.
