Jorge Martin continued his blistering qualifying pace after taking pole position in a wet qualifying session at Assen.
This takes the Spaniard’s pole position count up to six this season, with there being only two other races where the Gresini rider failed to start from the front of the grid.

Martin broke Dutch hearts, taking pole position away late on from home favourite Bo Bendsneyder. The Red Bull KTM Ajo Rider will start from second place at his home race, as he looks to take his first Grand Prix victory. Nicolo Bulega will join him on the front row, starting third.
Nakarin Atiratphuvapat will head the second row, his best qualifying performance so far. Marco Bezzechi also gained a career-best start in fifth, with Aron Canet starting sixth.
Joan Mir crashed out in the session, as conditions became more treacherous. The Mallorcan will start from seventh. Tony Arbolino put in a great performance to start from eighth. Manuel Pagliani completes row three with Tatsuki Suzuki starting from tenth.
The Moto3 riders will return to the track tomorrow at 10:00 BST.
