Santiago, Sao Paulo and Rome are set to join the Formula E calendar, for its fourth season which is set to commence this December.
Hong Kong will once again open the season, however, it’s now a double-header and two months later than it’s current date.
Marrakech remains on the calendar despite initial concerns that the event may be dropped after only one race. Santiago will host round three, the very first FIA-sanctioned street race in Chile.
Mexico hosts its third ePrix exactly a month later, with the first ever ePrix in Brazil taking place two weeks later in Sao Paulo.
Rome is the third and final new host venue on the calendar, scheduled for April 14, two weeks before the Paris ePrix.
The eighth and ninth rounds of the season are still to be confirmed. However, the former will likely be held in Germany and the latter will either be in Zurich or Moscow, which held an ePrix in the sport’s first ever season.
New York and Montreal will host the final two rounds of the season, and will once again be double-headers.
Monaco is set to take a year out, before returning to the calendar for the fifth season. The Buenos Aires ePrix is the other event which won’t feature on next season’s calendar.
