Five talking points ahead of the Berlin double-header

Berlin marks the first of three double-headers as Formula E’s third season builds to its epic conclusion.

Sebastien Buemi leads Lucas di Grassi by 43 points with six races to go, two of which the Frenchman will miss due to his WEC commitments.

Buemi’s team-mate Nico Prost sits third in the championship ahead of veteran Nick Heidfeld and fellow countryman Jean-Eric Vergne.

The Berlin ePrix returns to the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit for 2017, after a year racing in downtown Berlin following the migrant crisis.

Last time the circuit was used, Jarno Trulli took a shock maiden pole position but had a miserable race and eventually finished two laps down.

Lucas di Grassi took the chequered flag first but was stripped of his victory after the race and Jerome d’Ambrosio claimed his maiden win in the series.

D’Ambrosio returns to Berlin in a very different situation, he has just 10 points to his name and he’s down in 16th in the drivers’ championship.

We look at five of the key talking points ahead of this weekend’s Berlin ePrix.
