With the start of the 12th season of the GP2 Series just over two months away, drivers are lining up to take one of the 22 seats available in Formula 1’s official feeder series this year.
Seven drivers have booked their place on the grid, from young drivers from F1’s top teams to experienced drivers looking for one final shot at winning the championship.
2016 witnessed one of the most competitive grids GP2 has ever seen, with ten different winners and a championship which was won by just eight points.
2017 promises to be even more competitive, and it could prove vital to have a blistering campaign more than ever this year, with numerous F1 drivers’ contracts expiring at the end of the season.
