Hubert to make GP3 debut in second post-season test

European Formula Three driver Anthoine Hubert will make his GP3 testing debut on the second day of post-season testing in Abu Dhabi.

The 20-year-old has been named in ART Grand Prix’s line-up for the day, replacing Nirei Fukuzumi, who lead both morning and afternoon sessions on the first day.

Hubert spent the 2016 season in Euro F3 at the Van Amersfoort Racing team, winning one race at the Norisring round of the championship. He finished eighth in the championship with 160 points.

Jack Aitken and Max Defourny remain in ART’s first and third car for a second successive day while Arjun Maini moves over from Trident to complete the team’s line-up.

Kevin Joerg and Tatiana Calderon, who took part in the 2016 season with DAMS and Arden International, take part after not participating in the first day. The two drivers switch teams, with Joerg at the British team and Calderon moving over to the French outfit.
