The qualifying groups for the Formula E season opener in Hong Kong have been announced.
The hour-long qualifying session sees all 20 drivers split into four groups of five, with each group getting six minutes to get a time on the board. The five fastest drivers from each group go into the super pole shootout which sees the fifth fastest go out first, then the fourth fastest and so on.
Pole position to fifth place is decided through the super pole format whilst the rest of the grid is ordered in times set during Q1-Q4.
