Ducati’s Andrea Iannone has taken pole at the Red Bull Ring.
The Italian took his first pole of the season at a track where the Ducati has been a dominant force.
Iannone was closely followed by Valentino Rossi, who was only 0.147 seconds behind his fellow countryman. Rossi himself only took second by 0.009 seconds, with Andrea Dovizioso completing the all-Italian front row.

The Italians will be followed by an all-Spanish second row, with Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez and Maverick Vinales finishing the day in fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. Marc Marquez recovered from a shoulder injury suffered in FP3, and will be fit for the race tomorrow.
The British pairing of Cal Crutchlow and Scott Redding head the third row, with Aleix Espargaro joining them. Hector Barbera will start from tenth, with Eugene Laverty following him making his debut in Q2. Dani Pedrosa ends the day in a disappointing twelfth.
The biggest casualties of Q1 include Danilo Petrucci and Pol Espargaro. Petrucci was unlucky to miss out, and will start in thirteenth tomorrow.
The race gets underway at 13:00 BST tomorrow
