Sebastien Buemi was the quickest in the second practice session for the London ePrix, while championship rival Lucas di Grassi could only get fifth.
The Swiss driver has finished ahead of his Brazilian rival in both of todays practice sessions, while both their teammates Nico Prost and Daniel Abt have looked very strong. The drivers made up for four of the top five positions.
Loic Duval was one of the surprises of the session, he was able to practice his full power qualifying lap and grabbed fourth position. He will be wanting to do the same thing during qualifying itself, while his teammate Jerome d’Ambrosio didn’t look impressive.
The DS Virgin cars haven’t looked too great so far today, but Jean-Eric Vergne was able to finish in sixth and only 0.29 seconds behind Buemi’s fastest lap. His British teammate Sam Bird will be looking to do better after not finishing inside the top ten.

The first Formula E Drivers’ Champion Nelson Piquet Jr. carried on his impressive form in the practice sessions, and so did his NEXTEV TCR teammate Oliver Turvey. They finished seventh and ninth respectively.
Stephane Sarrazin finished in eighth position and was the last driver to set a time within one second of Buemi, while Bruno Senna in the Mahindra car rounded of the top ten.
It is bound to be a very tight qualifying session today between the Renault e.dams and Abt Schaeffler teams, with all the point available important to both sides.
