2016 Formula One Chinese Grand Prix Predictions

Formula One returns to China this weekend, and after back-to-back victories for Nico Rosberg in 2016, the rest of the competition have quite a bit of catching up to do.

The biggest news heading into Shanghai is the fact that qualifying is reverting back to its previous format, much to the delight of the fans, drivers, and teams.

Lewis Hamilton will have to sort out his starts if he’s to win this race, and the Ferrari’s reliability issues could have put them out of the championship fight already.

Romain Grosjean and Haas continue to shine, and after impressing again in Bahrain they may well be in a position to fight for third in the Constructors’ Championship, it is still too early to say though.

McLaren’s Fernando Alonso is still a doubt for the race, and Stoffel Vandoorne could be set to start his second ever F1 grand prix after scoring points on his debut last time out.

Here’s a look at the qualifying and race predictions ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.
