In what is their twentieth year of Grand Prix racing, Gresini Racing Team have launched their new livery on their Kalex Moto2 and Moto3 Honda NSF250RWs in Faenza, Italy.
The Gresini Racing Moto 2 Team has been in collaboration with Federal Oil for five years now and have taken on new colours for their 2016 livery.
British rider Sam Lowes made the switch this season after finishing fourth in the 2015 Moto2 Championship with Speed Up Racing Team, now piloted by Simone Corsi.
At the presentation, new rider Sam Lowes said: “The bike in the new colours is great, the design is really nice and aggressive. Having presented the team also means the start of the season is getting closer and are therefore I’m doubly pleased. The tests we have carried our so far have been very positive; the team has worked really well and also today we breathed a nice atmosphere, so I expect a fantastic season. Our goal is clear; we are aiming for the title, so I hope we can continue in the best possible way (with) our pre-season preparation and immediately get a good result in Qatar, to start the Championship on the right foot”.

Team boss Fausto Gresini said: “We feel confident because think that we have everything it takes to have a great season. A competitive bike, which has an impactful new Federal Oil livery, a very fast rider on which we place great hopes, and valuable partners who strongly believe in us and have been supporting us for a long time.”
The Gresini Moto 3 Team Honda NSF250RWs will be ridden by Italians Fabio Di Giannantonio and Enea Bastianini who finished third in the 2015 Moto3 Championship. The team once again have big ambitions for the 2016 Championship even though competition is strong. Both riders and the team are feeling ready and confident with the data collected so far.

It was also announced that Indonesian apparel brand ‘Breath’ will be the official technical clothing supplier to Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto 2 in 2016.
