The Trulli Formula E Team look set to take part at this weekend’s Putrajaya ePrix after confirming their engines had arrived in Malaysia.
It has been a troubled start to the new season for the Italian backed team having not taken part in the summer testing sessions at Donington Park, and then not making it onto the grid last weekend in Beijing after the engines were caught up in Chinese customs.

There had been some speculation that the team might not even make the next round of the championship, this coming Saturday in Malaysia, but today it was confirmed their new engines had arrived.
The team confirmed in Beijing measures had already been set in place to make sure the engines were in Malaysia.
In the statement made at the time, Trulli Team Principal Lucio Cavuto said “We are now going to ask DHL Motorsport to handle our engines and inverters in customs, to be sent together with the rest of the team’s boxes so that they all get transported to Malaysia. Now we focus on Putrajaya and to ensure that this incident will never happen again.”
The Trulli team elected to run Motomatica engines for the second season of Formula E, and despite a lack of testing won’t revert to last seasons, currently only run by Team Aguri and Andretti.
