Mitch Evans is among several drivers who have been penalised after qualifying for the GP2 feature race at Monza.
Evans and Sergio Canamasas, who put their cars second and ninth on the grid for the race respectively, suffered the brunt of those penalties given by the stewards as they were disqualified for running with tyre pressures at an insufficient level.
The RUSSIAN TIME and Lazarus drivers will now start the Feature race from the rear end of the grid, with championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne now occupying Evans’ front row spot and Alex Lynn moving up to third on the grid.
Other drivers to be handed grid penalties are Marion Stockinger and Meindert van Burren, both guilty of blocking Rene Binder during the qualifying session and receiving three-place grid penalties.
Stockinger will start 22nd despite qualifying 21st as Evans and Sergio Canammasas serve their penalties whilst van Burren will start from the pit lane as qualifying 25th sees his grid position unaffected.
