Artem Markelov has confirmed via his Instagram account that he will be staying on with the Russian Time team in GP2 for 2015.
The Russian, who made his debut in the series at the start of 2014, finished 24th in the overall standings after a solitary points finish in Belgium, and will have a second term to get himself up to speed.
The 20 year old posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption “Russian Time, GP2, 2015”. When quizzed about whether this meant he was signed for the team, Markelov replied to confirm the news.
Markelov is now the eighth driver to have their seat confirmed in GP2 for 2015.
