The F1 circus is due to touch down at the Grand Prix du Canada this weekend, all eyes are focused one what kind of inter-team battle will occur this weekend. Will Hamilton outclass Rosberg at one of his better tracks, or will Rosberg play more mind games and cause Hamilton to crack under pressure? One thing for sure this weekend is going to be one hell of a race.

Hamilton: “Montreal is one of my favourite weekends of the year. It’s where I won my first Grand Prix back in 2007 and I’ve had another two victories there since, so it holds some special memories for me. The city itself is incredible. It’s one I always love to go to and there’s always a great crowd, so I’m hoping for them that the weather is good and we can put on a great show!”

It appears Redbull are becoming quite handy in a straight line and are sure to be fighting for a podium this weekend.

Force India continue to show that a small team budget can let you play with the big boys with of course a helping hand by the powerful Mercedes power unit driving the car, a betting man may think about going with Hulkenberg for a cheeky podium.

A final note on F1updates notes is Marussia, although the success of Monaco was a great news story for F1, questions have to be asked on how the car will perform on a low downforce circuit with high brake wear, another top 10 finish maybe unlikely this weekend but the weather could yet play a part in changing this.

Bianchi: “I don’t know if we can get two points again in Canada, but we need to consistently demonstrate that we can keep pace with the Saubers and have a good race, and this I think we can do. I think the points success will live with us for a very long time, but equally we have to switch focus to the next races to ensure we keep moving forward, as it is still a long season ahead and the Montreal circuit is by no means a straightforward challenge.”
