Driver Ratings: 2017 Canadian Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton claimed his third win of the season with a dominant drive ahead of his team-mate Valtteri Bottas in Canada.

It marked Mercedes’ first one-two of the season and the first time championship leader Sebastian Vettel, who finished in fourth place, failed to stand on the podium this year.

It was Daniel Ricciardo who joined the Mercedes duo on the podium despite starting down in sixth place. He benefitted from his team-mate Max Verstappen’s Red Bull grinding to a halt whilst running in second.

The Force India pair of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon came home in fifth and sixth separated by just 0.240 seconds. Perez controversially went against team orders to let his team-mate through.

Kimi Raikkonen had a nightmare of a race as he made a poor start and then fell out of the fight for the final podium spot with braking issues. He eventually finished in seventh ahead of Nico Hulkenberg.

Local boy Lance Stroll achieved his first points finish of his career in ninth with Romain Grosjean picking up the final point in tenth.

From local hero Stroll to penalty hit Daniil Kvyat, we rate all 20 drivers (out of 10) based on their weekend.
