Red Bull reveals RB15 livery ahead of testing

Red Bull has released rendered images of the livery that will feature on its RB15 car during the 2019 Formula 1 season.

The team’s first Honda-powered car was launched during a shakedown event at Silverstone last week.

However, the car featured a “special edition” one-off red and dark blue livery, serving to conceal details on the car as well as causing a social media stir with the radical design.

Monday’s images reveal a traditional Red Bull design, featuring the same colours used by the team for the majority of its tenure in F1.

The design retains prominent TAG Heuer branding. The watch manufacturer has been labelled as the team’s engine partner since 2016 while the team continued to be supplied by Renault.

Despite the switched to Honda power for 2019, TAG logos feature alongside Honda branding.

Aston Martin continues to provide title sponsorship to the team and the manufacturer’s logos are therefore also featured prominently on the car.

Max Verstappen will drive the car on Monday for the opening day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Bareclona, before Red Bull newcomer Pierre Gasly takes to the track on Tuesday.
