An explosive Singapore Grand Prix, which may well decide the destiny of both championships, marked the 14th round of the 2017 Formula 1 season.
Sebastian Vettel’s dramatic exit on the opening lap along with Max Verstappen and Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen puts him 28 points adrift of Lewis Hamilton in the drivers’ championship.
Hamilton notched up his third successive victory ahead of Daniel Ricciardo who came home in second place. Valtteri Bottas scooped up his tenth podium of the year despite struggling for pace on the drying track relative to his team-mate.
Carlos Sainz Jr. earned his best ever finish in F1 in fourth place while Sergio Perez returned to the top-five for the first time since Canada.
Renault’s Nico Hulkenberg was in the fight for fourth place before his race was prematurely ended through no fault of his own. His team-mate Jolyon Palmer earned his first points of the year.
Stoffel Vandoorne, Lance Stroll, Romain Grosjean and Esteban Ocon completed the points paying positions.
Here’s how we rated each drivers’ performance over the Singapore GP weekend.
