Scott Redding is set to ride for Aprilia next season, with Sam Lowes being cut from the team, according to Crash.net.
Lowes will no longer serve the second year of his contract with the Aprilia Gresini team, with the team deciding to move on after a difficult season for the former World Supersport champion.

Redding has now been thrown a MotoGP lifeline, after being replaced at Pramac Ducati by Australian Jack Miller next season. Redding will be set to reunite with the Gresini squad after riding for the Italian outfit in 2014. The Briton struggled on the open class Honda, before moving to Marc VDS Honda.
This leaves Lowes in a difficult place, now left with not many options available in the premier class for next season. He had expected to keep his ride at Aprilia after positive talks over the summer break.
Lowes’ teammate Aleix Espargaro, who has outshone the Briton throughout this season, tweeted a message of support to the rider, presumably after hearing the news.
