Marc Marquez stormed to yet another win after what turned out to be a great tactical decision at Brno.
The Spaniard changed tyres on lap one after starting on the hard wet tyres that certainly were not working. He then jumped the rest of the field, who had to pit after him after conditions cleared up.
This led to the Repsol Honda rider having a race on his own. Marquez gapped the rest of the field and went on to take his fourth win of the season.
Behind Marquez was where the real action was, however. Things looked to be going well for Ducati’s Jorge Lorenzo before a mishap in the pits saw the former world champion fall down the order, finishing in 15th place.
The rest of the field entered the pits apart from Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso and Johann Zarco, who were still on the hard wet tyres. The trio then pitted but were way down the order.

Scott Redding and Aleix Espargaro had timed their bike changes well, meaning the pair were second and third for a time. This didn’t hold for long though, as Dani Pedrosa quickly dispatched of the pair. Pedrosa would go on to finish second, still finishing 12 seconds behind Marquez.
Maverick Vinales would cut his way through the field, eventually making it into the podium places. He was able to salvage third, and rode a great race. Valentino Rossi was able to catch up and make fourth, just beating out Cal Crutchlow, who finished fifth.
Andrea Dovizioso would finish sixth ahead of Danilo Petrucci in seventh and Aleix Espargaro in eighth. Espargaro was given a three place penalty during the race after an incident with Andrea Iannone in the pits.
Pol Espargaro was ninth, with Jonas Folger crossing the line tenth. Alex Rins had a good performance in eleventh, with Zarco placing in twelfth.
The result means Marquez retains his championship lead, with the standings still tight going into the Austrian GP. Action from the Red Bull Ring kicks off on Friday.
