Dovizioso tops second free practice at Brno

Andrea Dovizioso finished top to end Friday as the leading rider at Brno.

The Italian took first by over four tenths with a late charge, beating out Jonas Folger and Danilo Petrucci, who finished second and third respectively.

The session saw Ducati debut a radical new fairing, which saw a mixed response from onlookers…

The fastest man in FP1, Johann Zarco, was fourth in FP2, with Hector Barbera and Scott Redding behind him in fifth and sixth.

Dani Pedrosa finished in seventh, after spending the majority of the session in the lead. Last year’s winner, Cal Crutchlow, ended the session in eight position.

Aleix Espargaro was ninth, with Marc Marquez all the way down in tenth. There were further shocks in the order, with Maverick Vinales down in 11th, and Valentino Rossi down in 14th place.

MotoGP returns tomorrow for qualifying and the final free practice session.
