Marc Marquez continued to show that he’s the “King of the Ring” by taking pole position for tomorrow’s German GP.
The Spaniard has won in his last seven races in Germany, becoming a master of the Sachsenring circuit. He just pipped Danilo Petrucci to first place, with the Italian now starting from second for tomorrow’s race.
Marquez managed the treacherous conditions well, as the Spaniard aims to take his eighth win in a row at the Sachsenring. Joining Marquez and Petrucci on the front row will be teammate Dani Pedrosa.

Cal Crutchlow left it late but will start from the front of the second row. Jonas Folger will start from fifth at his home race, with Jorge Lorenzo starting from sixth.
Pol Espargaro will start from seventh, gaining KTM’s best ever qualifying result after coming through from Q1. Espargaro’s brother Aleix will start from eighth, with Valentino Rossi starting from ninth.
Andrea Dovizioso took the final top ten spot, with Maverick Vinales and Alvaro Bautista finishing eleventh and twelfth.
The race will get underway at 13:00 BST tomorrow.
