Nick Heidfeld thinks that he has the momentum going into the second race of the Berlin ePrix double header.
The Mahindra driver finished on the podium for the third race in a row, while his team-mate Felix Rosenqvist won his first have in Formula E.
The next race is set to be two laps longer than on Saturday, with temperatures expected hit 27C by the time the race starts.
“Of course we have good momentum and I think we’ve been even stronger than the last couple races,” Heidfeld said after finishing third on Saturday. “We’ve just made some small adjustments to the car and I hope that I will win soon.”

Both Heidfeld and his Swedish team-mate have gotten within six points of Nico Prost in the drivers’ championship. The Frenchman is third in the standings behind Lucas di Grassi and his team-mate Sebastien Buemi.
Heidfeld praised Rosenqvist’s performance during the day. “Felix did a fantastic job, he showed that it was possible.
“Some of our other competitors were not as strong as expected, especially Renault, so it’ll be interesting to see tomorrow if they can catch up a bit.”
Heidfeld finished Sunday’s first practice session in eighth while Rosenqvist was in fifth. Yesterday Mahindra showed their pace during FP2.
