Jorge Martin has sent a message to the rest of the Moto3 grid by breaking the lap record on his way to yet another pole position.
Martin broke the record for a Moto3 machine at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with his final lap of the session. This means the Spaniard will line up at the front of the grid for tomorrow’s race.

The session was full of questionable riding, as many riders looked for a tow for Catalunya’s long home straight. Aron Canet and Romano Fenati spent a solid minute arguing at the end of pit lane as both riders looked for a tow.
Canet would end up second, whereas Juanfran Guevara put in a great performance to end up third. Fenati will start fourth tomorrow, heading up the second row. Joan Mir will join him on the second row in fifth, alongside Marcos Ramirez.
Enea Bastianini will start on the third row in seventh. Alongside him will be Fabio di Giannantonio in eighth and Tatsuki Suzuki in ninth. Nicolo Antonelli will head up row four with Gabriel Rodrigo and Lorenzo Della Porta.
