Lorenzo Baldassarri tops rain affected FP3

Rain affected play at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit in Argentina, as Lorenzo Baldassarri topped the times.

Many riders stayed in for the majority of the session, due to the fact rain was falling on parts of the circuit. Some riders braved the conditions, but the times were nowhere near the times set in FP2.

This was until conditions cleared, and the riders were finally able to go out and set quicker times.

Baldasarri ended the session on top, with Miguel Oliveria finishing behind him in second. Danny Kent was third, whilst Franco Morbidelli, who topped FP2, was fourth.

Simone Corsi on the Speed Up was fifth, whilst Isaac Vinales was sixth. Alex Marquez, Xavi Vierge and Hazhif Syahrin were seventh, eighth and ninth respectively, whilst Fabio Quartararo was the final rider inside the top ten.

The weather is still a question, but the Moto2 riders will begin qualifying at 19:05 BST at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit.
