Formula 1 testing continued at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was fastest continuing the Italian team’s strong start to winter testing.
The Finn ended day two fastest ahead of Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes driver opted for supersoft rubber but was unable to remain on top of the timesheets.
Lance Stroll only managed 12 laps on his first outing in the FW40 after spinning at Turn 9 damaging Williams’ only front wing.
Once again, McLaren suffered more mechanical issues and could only compete just under 30 laps.
