Formula 1 is back underway with testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
It was reigning world champions Mercedes who looked to be the team to beat once again as Lewis Hamilton topped the timesheets. Hamilton took over in the afternoon from Valtteri Bottas. Sebastian Vettel was second fastest ahead of Williams’ Felipe Massa.
McLaren and Red Bull both endured a difficult day, suffering reliability issues and were unable to show the true pace of their respective cars.
