2016 saw a number of big moments in Formula 1 with the season culminating in Nico Rosberg‘s first World Drivers’ Championship and his subsequent retirement.
We started off with a new qualifying format that was heavily criticised and subsequently dropped after two races. Driver changes occurred in the middle of the season, with Max Verstappen then becoming the youngest race winner in F1 history.
