The Singapore Grand Prix has, on occasions, produced some fantastic races with peculiar results.
Whether it be crash-gate in 2008, the thriller of 2012 or Mercedes’ struggles last year, there are plenty of memories from past night races at the venue.
2016 could be another year to remember. Red Bull have been right with Mercedes on the downforce-dependant circuits so far this season – taking victory in Spain after the Silver Arrows collided on the first lap.
Ferrari will also be a team to watch – especially as Sebastian Vettel is the most successful driver around the Marina. He took Ferrari’s third win of the season at this track last year and will be aiming to take their first 12 months on.

Lewis Hamilton leads the Drivers’ Championship by just two points coming into the race, whilst Vettel is just seven ahead of his teammate Raikkonen in fourth. It is, however, the constructors battle that needs to be looked at.
Williams reclaimed fourth from Force India last time out, but are expecting to struggle this weekend due to their car naturally having low downforce. They only have a three point lead over their rivals, who usually have at least one car finish in the points here.
Monza failed to deliver a good race, let’s hope that Singapore does. Read Motorsport will of course have all of the news and updates from Singapore over the weekend.
